Biological Evidence for Every Intake Decision

ASD Insight™ gives ABA intake teams an objective, biology-based signal to help your team move faster and with more confidence — without replacing the clinical judgment already in place. It helps get children the earlier interventions they need, as soon as possible.

What ASD Insight Offers

No Waitlist, No Cost to Your Practice

ASD Insight helps your team understand a child's autism risk, potentially allowing them to start receiving preliminary services before an official diagnosis is administered. Intake queues often fill up faster than diagnostician capacity, leaving anxious families with no good next move in the meantime. ASD Insight adds a fast, low-lift data point at intake — results in weeks, with no additional lift from your team.

  • Helps intake prioritize which children see a diagnostician first
  • Adds capacity relief without adding practice overhead
  • Gives anxious families a concrete next step instead of a waitlist
Why It's Different

A Signal Grounded in Biology

Most autism screenings today use observed behavior to diagnose — which means they are typically unable to provide a validated diagnosis before behavioral symptoms emerge, typically around 18-24 months. ASD Insight solves this problem: it looks at how cells function instead of how a child behaves, a difference that's measurable as early as birth. This biological evidence makes it possible to identify autism risk before behavioral symptoms are seen.

Dr. Jay Gargus's research found that calcium gates in skin cells behave differently in people with autism: in individuals without autism, the gates open and stay open, while in most people with autism, they flicker and close almost immediately. That difference is measurable in a skin sample from birth, independent of behavior.

No Cost, No Inventory,
No Extra Steps for Your Team

Families self-pay, so there's no cost to your organization — but that doesn't mean the logistics fall on your team. NeuroQure manages the end-to-end patient experience, including ordering, sample collection, and payment, so your team simply refers or requests the test through the online portal. Results are available in 4–6 weeks.

1

Refer or request

Your team recommends a family for testing. NeuroQure's independent telehealth partner can evaluate and order the test if clinically appropriate.

2

Sample collected

3

Results in 4–6 weeks

Results and support go directly to the family, with a neurodevelopmental counselor available for follow-up. Families can choose to share their results with your organization.

The Science Behind the Signal

ASD Insight is grounded in UCI CART-affiliated research and developed under the direction of Dr. Jay Gargus. Testing is conducted in a CLIA-certified lab, with the same quality standards applied across every sample.

What the Test Actually Measures

No Elevated Autism Risk Signal Detected

Gate Opens & Stays Open

Calcium flows freely and steadily, supporting normal cellular signaling.

Elevated Autism Risk Signal Detected

Gate Flickers & Closes

Calcium release is brief and interrupted — measurable from a skin sample at birth.

Already Diagnosing In-House?

ASD Insight doesn't replace your diagnostic process — it gives your team a signal before or alongside it. Use it to help decide which children should skip the line to see a diagnostician first, and to ease bandwidth pressure when queues outpace capacity.
